The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Officers and Members Present: President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and three Trustees. The Treasurer and Technology Committee chair were absent. There were 40 members present.

Minutes of the 21 November 2022 meeting were read and approved. Motion to accept the Meeting Minutes, as read, was made by Steve Bear and seconded by Dean Clepper. The motion carried.

Treasurer Report was read and approved. Treasurer report was read by the Vice-President. The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, and CDs amounted to $120,394.96, less Training Fund of $1,066.72. The CGC Training Group transferred $2400 of CY2022 funds into the CGC Savings Account. Motion to accept the Treasurer Report, as read, was made by Tom Sheperd and seconded by Gary Gibson. The motion carried.

Corresponding Secretary Report – Scot Story. Three member broadcast emails were sent announcing cancellation of the December meeting, range closure for cleaning, and a reminder of the 30 January 2023 General Membership meeting. Members were reminded to check their junk email for CGC announcements and move into them into email inbox to read to ensure future CGC Corresponding Secretary emails are received.

CGC Training Group Activities Report – Denny Kuehn. The 30 January 2023 report included CGC Training Group activities for the months of December 2022 and January 2023. The CGC Training Fund ending balance was $1,066.72. CGC NRA instructors hosted an NRA Defensive Pistol course for 3 men on 3 December 2022. CGC NRA instructors hosted 2 NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting courses on 13-14 and on 20-21 January 2023 for 27 shooters, including 12 women, 12 men, and 3 Junior men. See the 30 January 2023 Training Group Activities Report for details.

6 January 2023 Cowboy Action match. The next 2023 five-stage match is scheduled for Saturday 4 February 2023 from @ 10am-2pm.
Note: As discussed before with the CGC Master Chief Range Safety Officer: WPPL shooters are reminded to reconfigure the range for the other 438 Carlisle Gun Club members.
