Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes
9/25/2017

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President; there were 55 members present.

The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Officers present: President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, and 2 Trustees.

The Minutes for the August 28, 2017 meeting were read and accepted.

Treasurer’s Report was read and accepted.  The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, CDs and Training Fund amounted to $40,984.48.  The treasurer also reported that there is currently $4260 in the PayPal account.

Corresponding Secretary’s Report.  No report

Membership.   There were no candidates for membership.

NRA Training Committee Report- Reported a total balance of $2,153.04 in the training account.  Reported on the Training group activities for the month of September 2017 and the projected activities for the remainder of the year which included the Personal Protection Inside the Home and Personal Protection Outside the Home.  Anyone interested in becoming an NRA certified instructor or taking an instructor refresher course should contact Slim Connnors.

4H Shooters– Reported they will be starting practice again October.

Cowboy Action.  Members were encouraged to attend the ZCowboy Action Shoot in January and February.

Membership Committee.  Reported on the status of membership renewals.  There will be a notice sent out to all members that dues are required to be paid by 30 October 2017 or membership will lapse.

WPPL Pistol Team.  Reported they received their laptop   

Trustees Report.- Reported the dampeners in the ventilation system.

Old Business–  

-Elections.  The following indivduals were elected as officer in the Club.

Vice President- Slim Connors
Treasurer- Darren Snow
Recording Secretary- Joe Wasiak
Corresponding Secretary- Clayton Morrow
Trustee- Mike Kubarek

-Vending Machines-  The soda machine has been repaired.  Bill Beidel made a motion to raise the cost of a soda.  The motion was voted and approved.

New Business– 

-Club Work Day- There will be a range work day on September 30 from 0800 until completion.  There was a discussion on equipment and tasks to be completed.  Members were encouraged to get a good facemask.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 pm.
