Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes
11/26/2018

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President.

The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Officers present: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary and 2 Trustees.  There were 29 members present

The Minutes for the October 2018 meeting were read and approved. 

Treasurer’s Report was read and accepted.

Corresponding Secretary’s Report- No Report

NRA Training Group Report- The NRA Training Group reported on training they conducted in November with a total of 7 students in class.  All training objectives were achieved. Also, CGC NRA Instructors participated in Women on Target Shooting Clinic. The training calendar for 2019 is complete and will be posted on the Club’s website.

New Members- There were 19 new members processed into the Club.

4H Shooters– No Report

Cowboy Action- No Report

Membership Committee- Currently the CGC is processing new members to fill the vacancies.

WPPL Pistol Team- Contact Gary Gibson if you are interested in joining the team.

Trustees Report– No Report

Old Business-

Wi-Fi- There was a discussion about the possibility of installing Wi-Fi at the club.  This will be addressed at a future meeting.

Targets– Bowling pins are not acceptable targets in the range.  Paper targets only.

Video Surveillance Upgrade– Tony will follow-up with Cam Tech on the status of installation.

Membership– There was interest in raising the number of active members, but some concern on the impact that will have on the club. This topic will be discussed at a later date, so the NRA Instructors can be part of the conversation.

NRA Check-The total amount of donations and matching club funds sent to the NRA was $920.

New Business- No comments

For the Good of the Club-

It was announced that member Mike Kubarek recently experienced 2 deaths in his family.  A card was signed by club members and sent to Mike.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:52 pm
