Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President.

The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Officers present:President, Vice President, and Recording Secretary.  There were 12 members present.

The Minutes for the April 2019 meeting were read and approved . 

Treasurer’s Report was readand accepted.

Corresponding Secretary’s Report-No Report.

NRA Training Group Report-CGC NRA Instructors assisted training 17 women during the Roots for Boots program. In addition to in-processing 17 new members, CGC NRA instructors provided more than 6 hours of training in May.

New Members- There were 5 new members processed into the Club. 

4H Shooters– No Report.

Cowboy Action- No Report.

Membership Committee- Applicants will continue to be processed during upcoming meetings.

WPPL Pistol Team- They are currently looking for more shooters.  Contact Gary Gibson or Dick Pryor if you are interested in joining the team.

Trustees Report– No Report

Old Business- Sunday, June 9^thfrom 1:00-3:00pm US Law Shield will be presenting a seminar at the CGC titled The Legally Justified Use of Force.   Members are Free, and Non-Members are $10.

New Business- No Report

For the Good of the Club-

Safety- Members are reminded that safety on the range is of upmost importance.  Slim will send an email to all members outlining proper range procedures.

Legislative Action- Randy Nichols volunteered to periodically update CGC members of any changes that take place regarding firearm regulations and laws.
