Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes
04/29/2019

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President.

The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Officers present: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and 1 Trustee.  There were 41 members present.

The Minutes for the March 2019 meeting were read and approved. 

Treasurer’s Report was readband accepted.

Corresponding Secretary’s Report-Mike Kubarek has organized an event on Sunday, June 9^thfrom 1:00-3:00pm at our club with US Law Shield titled The Legally Justified Use of Force.  Members are Free, and Non-Members are $10.

NRA Training Group Report-The NRA Training Group reported on training they conducted in April with a total of 13 students. Also, CGC NRA Instructors assisted training 16 women during the Roots for Boots program. All training objectives were achieved. In addition to in-processing new members, CGC NRA instructors provided more than 24 hours of training in April.

New Members- There were 17 new members processed into the Club. 

4H Shooters– No Report.

Cowboy Action- No Report.

Membership Committee- There are now a total of 460 members.  There are approximately 15 more applicants that will be processed during upcoming meetings.

WPPL Pistol Team- They are currently looking for more shooters.  Contact Gary Gibson or Dick Pryor if you are interested in joining the team.

Trustees Report– No Report

Old Business- None

For the Good of the Club-

NRA Leadership- Members are asked to be mindful of legislation and changes that are taking place effecting gun laws.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 pm
