Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Tom Richwine, there were 22 members present.

The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Officers present: President –Tom Richwine, Vice-President- Randy Nichols, Recording Secretary – Joe Wasiak, and Trustees – Mike Kubarek, and Dick Pryor

The Minutes for the June 6, 2016 meeting were read and approved .

Treasurers Report was read and approved.  The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, CDs and Training Fund amounted to $55,936.46.

NRA Training Committee Report-  No Report

4H Report- No Report

Cowboy Action–  No report.

Trustees Report–  No  report.

Membership Committee– No Report

Pistol Team–  No report.

Old Business.

Parvin Weaver reported on the work being done to the exterior of the building which began the week of June 20,2016.  The work is approximately 2/3 completed and should be finished by the June 25, 2016 meeting.

The president reported on a quote for $485 to clean the ductwork for the club.  There was a question as to what speeds the fan system should be set at based on the number of shooters.  The president will look into this.

The president reported the status of the website upgrade.  In approximately one week the content will be posted and members can begin to review in the near future.

New Business 

The president reminded members that at the August meeting we will be accepting nominations for a new President and Vice President.  Talk it over and consider who you will want to nominate.

Saturday, September 24 is tentatively scheduled for a club clean-up day.  All members are strongly encouraged to attend and help out.

There was a question whether the club will consider matching funds for a donation to the NRA similar to what we did last year.  We will address this at a later meeting.
