Old Business.

Parvin Weaver reported on the repainting and pointing of the building.  He will set up a time for the officers to walk around and inspect the work.  The total cost was under the amount the club approved for this work.

Tom Richwine reported on the fans and exhaust system on the range.    The new Fans have been ordered and we got them for $1600, installation was $1695 and the duct cleaning was $485.  Variable controls will be installed with the fans in another week.    Range will be closed during installation.  Jason Richwine will program the controls.

There was a question as to whether the new direct drive fans would stick out far enough to enter into the range fan to the first and last firing points.

It was noted that the area on the southeast corner has an exposed opening to the elements now that the repointing work has been completed.  This was followed by question to the members by the president was there anyone who could repair this area.

Website- The first version of the website has been fielded.  In the next two weeks we will edit the content by those who will have responsibilities for posting information to the website.  After that we will message the membership so they can review the new format and make comments.  It is expected that by the August meeting the new website will be up and running.  It is a considerable improvement over the past website and will also have an active calendar with all information on range closings post timely.

1st Aid Kits.  Will be mounted in the range area and within the meeting area.  It was suggested they be mounted in oversized mailboxes.

Club Officer Elections.  We will accept nominations for club officers at the August meeting.  The Corresponding Secretary will send out a nominations report in an email 10 days prior.  A new president will need to be elected and Randy Nichols, the VP,  has offer to serve as the president, Tom Richwine has offered to serve as VP, and the Treasurer and Recording Secretary have agreed to continue to serve in those roles.    If anyone wants to nominate someone else for any of these positions they need to send the president an email.  We will also take nominations from the floor on the evening of the August meeting.  If you want to nominate someone you need to get their prior approval.  At the conclusion of the August meeting the nominations will be close and at the September meeting we will vote.  Tom Richwine will continue to serve through the September meeting and the new president and officers will take over at the October meeting.

There was a question about when we could pay dues.  We can begin to pay them in August.   Gary Gibson will send out a notice and the website will have a banner across the top as a reminder.

New Business

Last year the club matched monetary gifts to the NRA up to a total of $500. There was a motion that we continue this practice again this year.  The motion was passed.  The Treasurer noted that if someone is contributing to the NRA they need to indicate this on the check.  These checks must be received before the September meeting.

The Vice President, Randy Nichols offered to match up to $10m per club member for anyone contributing to the NRA.

It was asked whether we cold pay our dues on the website.  Tom Richwine stated he would look into this.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:26.
