Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes
November 24, 2025 

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the club President.

The Meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Officers and Members Present:  President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and 1 trustee were present.  There were 15 members present.  

Approval of Minutes from Prior Meeting.  The minutes for the October 2025 meeting were read by the Recording Secretary. A motion to accept the minutes was made by Darren Snow.  The motion carried.  

Treasurer’s Report. The Treasurer’s Report was read by the Treasurer.  The total balance of all accounts and CDs amounted to $127,583.91.  A motion to accept the report was made by Rick Blosser.  The motion carried.  See attached Members 1^st statement.  Treasurer reported that the total funds contributed for the NRA-ILA was $170 which was matched by the club for a total contribution of $340.  The Comcast service was upgraded and the UGI rate was changed.  

Corresponding Secretary’s Report.  No Report  

NRA Training Group Activities Report.  The NRA Training Group Activities Report for November 2025 was read by Slim Connors.  The group training fund had an ending balance of $3363.79.  Slim reported on the training activities for November which included a Personal Protection Outside the Home course conducted on 9 & 16 November.  The training activities scheduled for the upcoming months include a Defensive Pistol on 7 December.  See the attached report.    

New Members Accepted into the Club.   There were 8 new members accepted into the club.  See the attached roster spreadsheet.

4H Youth Small Bore Rifle Shooting Program – No Report   

Cowboy Action Shooters.  Rick Blosser requested January 2 and February 6 as the dates for the 2027 Cowboy Action Shoots.  

Membership Committee Report.   Wanda Bonasera reported that all individuals who had not paid their 2026 dues have had their FOBs deactivated.  As of November 24 there were 405 members including the 8 members accepted tonight.  There are 3 applications waiting to be processed.  

Technology and Security Committee.  No report

WPPL Pistol Team.  The team has completed 1/3 of the season.     

Trustees Report.  Mike Bonasera reported on the following action/issues:

-The Governance section of the website needs to be updated with the current club officers.

-Exhaust Fan shroud rebuild and Noise Abatement

-Window replacement project

-Ladies and Men’s restroom upgrade project.

-Range Update on recycling expended brass and backstop patching.

Old Business.  

-The President reported there is no new information on the situation with the construction of the new Sheetz.  

New Business.  

– The president inquired about interest in a Fall Swap Meet.  He asked for volunteers to assist with this project which was a recommendation from respondents to the previously circulated surveys sent to club members.  

For the Good of the Club.  No Report. 

Adjournment.  Joe Carrico made a motion to adjourn.  Motion Carried.  Meeting was adjourned at 7:52 pm.
