Old Business

  1. Kurt Uhler. The CGC roof is 30 years old. Roof replacement estimates are yet to be provided from vendors. There was a discussion about the possibility of conducting an engineering study for installation of a pitched roof. Consensus is that a white-colored flat replacement roof is acceptable.
  2. Mike Kubarek. During the January and February General Membership meetings, decisions were made to purchase an AED for the Club at an estimated maximum authorized cost of up to $2000. The AED was  purchased and installed on the south wall of the Club’s meeting room. The AED has written instructions and   voice commands.

New Business

  1. Gary Gibson. WPPL requires more targets. Estimated cost for 3 years-worth of targets is $347.76 plus tax and shipping costs. The motion to spend up to $450.00 for WPPL targets was made by Gary Gibson and seconded by Ty Trainor. The motion carried.
  2. Mike Kubarek. Because of increased utilities costs, anticipated roof replacement costs, and other capital improvement project costs, it might be time to raise range dues. Motion to increase CGC Membership Dues from $60 to $80 was made by Mike Kubarek and seconded by Jim Yemzow. In compliance with CGC

By-Laws, any vote to change Membership Dues must be announced, in writing, to all CGC Members at least 10 days prior to the vote. Accordingly, the motion was tabled until the 24 April General Membership meeting. The Corresponding Secretary will send an email to the members announcing the vote to change Membership Dues within a few days after the 27 March meeting, and again more than 10 days prior to the 24 April 2023 General Membership meeting.

OPEN TASK ITEM: Corresponding Secretary.

For the Good of the Club

  1. Phil Dyche. One CGC member was observed bringing up to 5 guests at a time to the range. Members are reminded that the guest policy is a maximum of 2 guests at a time and only one guest may shoot at a time. CGC member hosts may not shoot while any guest is shooting because the host CGC member must serve as the range safety officer when guests are at the firing line. CGC member hosts are fully responsible for all guest behavior and shooting, for all guest rules compliance, and for all guest safety. Guests have not received documented range rules training, nor have guests signed the CGC Hold Harmless Agreement. In compliance with CGC

By-Laws, violators of CGC range rules, including guest policy, may lose range membership.

  1. CGC must schedule a range work day to repair the conveyor belt holes on the range. Trustees will coordinate with Darren Snow and other range work team leaders to schedule a range work day. Corresponding Secretary will make appropriate announcements about the range work day and about the proposed dues increase vote.

Motion to Adjourn – Motion to adjourn was made by Mike Kubarek and seconded by George Lawrence.  The motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 8:11 pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Slim Connors
Recording Secretary
