										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><b>Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes<br />
November 24, 2025<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></b></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the club President.</p>
<p>The Meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><b>Officers and Members Present:</b><span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and 1 trustee were present.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>There were 15 members present. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>Approval of Minutes from Prior Meeting.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>The minutes for the October 2025 meeting were read by the Recording Secretary. A motion to accept the minutes was made by Darren Snow.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The motion carried. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>Treasurer’s Report.</b> The Treasurer’s Report was read by the Treasurer.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The total balance of all accounts and CDs amounted to $127,583.91.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>A motion to accept the report was made by Rick Blosser.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The motion carried.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>See attached Members 1<sup>st</sup> statement.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Treasurer reported that the total funds contributed for the NRA-ILA was $170 which was matched by the club for a total contribution of $340.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The Comcast service was upgraded and the UGI rate was changed. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>Corresponding Secretary’s Report.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>No Report <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>NRA Training Group Activities Report.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>The NRA Training Group Activities Report for November 2025 was read by Slim Connors.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The group training fund had an ending balance of $3363.79.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Slim reported on the training activities for November which included a Personal Protection Outside the Home course conducted on 9 &amp; 16 November.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The training activities scheduled for the upcoming months include a Defensive Pistol on 7 December.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>See the attached report. <span class="Apple-converted-space">   </span></p>
<p><b>New Members Accepted into the Club.</b> <span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>There were 8 new members accepted into the club.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>See the attached roster spreadsheet.</p>
<p><b>4H Youth Small Bore Rifle Shooting Program – </b>No Report<span class="Apple-converted-space">   </span></p>
<p><b>Cowboy Action Shooters.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>Rick Blosser requested January 2 and February 6 as the dates for the 2027 Cowboy Action Shoots. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>Membership Committee Report. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></b> Wanda Bonasera reported that all individuals who had not paid their 2026 dues have had their FOBs deactivated.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>As of November 24 there were 405 members including the 8 members accepted tonight.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>There are 3 applications waiting to be processed. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>Technology and Security Committee.</b><span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>No report</p>
<p><b>WPPL Pistol Team.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>The team has completed 1/3 of the season.<span class="Apple-converted-space">     </span></p>
<p><b>Trustees Report.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>Mike Bonasera reported on the following action/issues:</p>
<p>-The Governance section of the website needs to be updated with the current club officers.</p>
<p>-Exhaust Fan shroud rebuild and Noise Abatement</p>
<p>-Window replacement project</p>
<p>-Ladies and Men’s restroom upgrade project.</p>
<p>-Range Update on recycling expended brass and backstop patching.</p>
<p><b>Old Business.</b> <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p>-The President reported there is no new information on the situation with the construction of the new Sheetz. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>New Business. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></b></p>
<p>&#8211; The president inquired about interest in a Fall Swap Meet.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>He asked for volunteers to assist with this project which was a recommendation from respondents to the previously circulated surveys sent to club members. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>For the Good of the Club.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>No Report.</b><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>

November 25, 2024</b></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the club President.</p>
<p>The Meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><b>Officers and Members Present:</b><span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and 2 trustees were present.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>There were 22 members present. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>Approval of Minutes from Prior Meeting.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>The minutes for the October 28, 2024 meeting were read by the Recording Secretary. A motion to accept the minutes was made by Darren Snow.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The motion carried. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>Treasurer’s Report.</b> The Treasurer’s Report was read by the Treasurer.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The total balance of all accounts and CDs amounted to $133,220.29.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>A motion to accept the report was made by John Haiduck. The motion carried. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>Corresponding Secretary’s Report.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>NSTR <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>NRA Training Group Activities Report.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>The NRA Training Group report for November was read by Slim Connors.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The group training fund had a balance of $2,523.37.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The Personal Protection Outside the Home Course scheduled for November 9 &amp; 16 was cancelled due to a limited number of students.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>There will be a Defensive Pistol Course conducted on 7 December.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The complete CGC NRA Training Calendar for 2025 will be posted to the club website.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>All club members were encouraged to read the CGC Range Operation, Regulation, and Procedures on the CGC website under the Governance Tab.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>See the attached report. <span class="Apple-converted-space">   </span></p>
<p><b>New Members Accepted into the Club.</b> <span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>There were 10 new members accepted into the club. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>4H Youth Small Bore Rifle Shooting Program</b>.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>NSTR.</p>
<p><b>Cowboy Action Shooters.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>Rick Blosser requested the dates of January 3 and February 7 for the the 2026 SASS shoots at the Gun Club.</p>
<p><b>Membership Committee Report. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></b> Wanda Bonasera reported that as of 11/25/2024 there were 409 members.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>There are 4 individuals on the waiting list. See attached report.</p>
<p><b>Technology and Security Committee.</b><span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>John Haiduck reported that we are updated our current security system to a cloud-based system.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>WPPL Pistol Team.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>Mark Weston reported that both teams are doing well and the team is looking for new members.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>They shoot on Wednesday nights.</p>
<p><b>Trustees Report.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>Mike Bonasera reported that due to the deterioration of the range ceiling the Trustees recommend it be replaced.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Discussion followed on what work would be done to include the installation of insulation and the potential need for asbestos testing.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>A preliminary cost of the project is approximately $15,000.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The timing of this work will account for the WPPL and NRA training calendar.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>There was no motion at this meeting on this project.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>A discussion then followed on the installation of the barrier wall at the back of the club range wall.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>The president requested that the trustees come back at the January meeting with any additional information.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>See attached report.<span class="Apple-converted-space">   </span></p>
<p><b>Old Business.</b><span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span><b>None</b></p>
<p><b>New Business.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>None</b></p>
<p><b>For the Good of the Club.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></b>Rick Blosser recommended that all club members consider attending the Cowboy Action Shoots scheduled for January and February 2025. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p>The President recommended that club members “talk up” the NRA courses in the community in order to raise awareness of the availability of this training. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><b>Adjournment.</b><span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Rick Blosser made a motion to adjourn.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Motion Carried.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Meeting was adjourned at 8:12 pm. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>

October 28, 2024</b></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the club President.</p>
<p>The Meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><b>Officers and Members Present:</b><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and 2 trustees were present.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>There were 18 members present. <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><b>Approval of Minutes from Prior Meeting.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span></b>The minutes for the September meeting were read by the Recording Secretary. A motion to accept the minutes was made by Rick Blosser.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>The motion carried. <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><b>Treasurer’s Report.</b> The Treasurer’s Report was read by the outgoing Treasurer.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>The total balance of all accounts and CDs amounted to $124,553.17.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>A motion to accept the report was made by Mike Kubarek. The motion carried.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>The outgoing treasurer, Darren Snow, thanked all who assisted him over the last 7 years.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>See attached letter.</p>
<p><b>Corresponding Secretary’s Report.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span></b>NSTR <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><b>NRA Training Group Activities Report.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span></b>The NRA Training Group report for October was read by Slim Connors.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>The group training fund had a balance of $2,703.87.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>The Training Group conducted a Personal Protection In the Home Course for 8 students on October 11 &amp; 12.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>There will be a Personal Protection Outside the Home Course conducted on November 9 &amp; 16.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>There will be a Defensive Pistol Course conducted on 7 December.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>The complete CGC NRA Training Calendar for 2025 will be posted to the club website in November.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>All club members were encouraged to read the CGC Range Operation, Regulation, and Procedures on the CGC website under the Governance Tab.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>See the attached report. <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p>

<p><b>Membership Committee Report. <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></b> As of 10/28/2024, 86% of the membership has paid their dues for FY2025.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>New members will be brought into the club beginning in November.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>There are 15 individuals on the waiting list. See attached report.</p>
<p><b>Technology and Security Committee.</b><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>NSTR<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></p>

<p>-Sheetz Construction.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>The surveyor has staked out what is needed for the right of way on Wrightstone Rd, the road in front of the club.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>A parking lot adjacent to the club building will be added.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>Discussion followed on the use of the club property.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>There was a request for the membership to be included on updates as this construction project develops.</p>
<p><b>New Business. <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></b></p>
<p><b><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span></b>-The club trustees received two bids for range improvements totaling approximately $800.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>Mike Kubarek made a motion to approved $1000 for range improvements.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>Motion carried. <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>-Due to the holidays the December meeting, currently scheduled for December 30<sup>th</sup>, will be cancelled. <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></p>

<strong>20 November 2023</strong></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>Officers and Members Present:</u></strong> President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary and   Corresponding Secretary. The Treasurer and three Trustees were absent. There were 22 members present.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>Minutes for the 30 October 2023 Meeting:</u></strong> The Meeting Minutes were read and approved. The motion to accept the Minutes was made by Slim Connors and seconded by Mike Kubarek.  The motion carried.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>Treasurer Report:</u></strong>  No report.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>Corresponding Secretary Report:</u></strong>  Mr. Patrick Warner. Reported that he has comprised a list of people who did not meet the club deadline to pay annual membership dues.  He will prepare an email and alert the delinquent members that they are no longer members in good standing.  They may be reinstated by re-applying for new membership.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>CGC Training Group Activities Report:</u></strong>  Slim Connors. The CGC Training Fund balance was $878.36. CGC NRA instructors hosted an <strong><u>NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside the Home Basic and Advanced </u></strong>courses on 11-18 November 2023. There were six shooters in these courses: one woman and five men.  All shooters completed course requirements.  CGC NRA instructors will host an <strong><u>NRA Defensive Pistol</u></strong> course on 2 December 2023.  There are six training slots available, and 5 shooters are registered for the course.  The course fee is $50.  Completion of <strong><u>NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Basic and Advanced</u></strong> courses are prerequisite.  See the 20 November 2023 NRA Training Group Activities Report for additional details.  The above training course completes the CY 2023 CGC training schedule.  During the Carlisle Gun Club’s CY 2023 Training Schedule, your NRA instructors trained 108 shooters during 16 courses and conducted new CGC member shooting safety evaluations for 50+ shooters.  A sincere thank you goes to the Club’s NRA certified instructors for their continuing volunteer contributions to firearm safety and proficiency training.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>New Members</u></strong> <strong>– </strong>There was one new member voted into the Club.  Motion to accept was made by Brian Warner and seconded by Bruce Apgar.  The motion carried.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>4-H Youth Small-Bore Rifle Shooting Program:</u></strong> No report.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>Cowboy Action:</u></strong> No report.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>Membership Committee:</u></strong> Rob Stewart. There are currently 373 active members. There are 116 members who failed to pay annual dues.  There are 14 current, valid applications.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>Technology and Security Committee:</u></strong> No report. However, President Kurt Uhler stated that Kirk Tadrich will likely be scheduled to attend the January meeting to discuss video surveillance recording system updates with the Club.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>WPPL Pistol Team:</u></strong> Gary Gibson. The William Penn Pistol Leage season is underway. The team will be off for the next two Wednesdays for the holiday but will resume on 06 December 2023 for a home match.  The WPPL schedule is posted at the range and on the CGC website. There are 10 teams in the League, with teams as far away as Mount Joy, PA.  Anyone interested in WPPL Precision Pistol shooting, please contact any WPPL shooter.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>Trustees Report:</u></strong> No report.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>Old Business:</u></strong>  President Kurt Uhler proposed the Club does not meet on December 18<sup>th</sup> due to the holidays.  The motion to accept this change was made by Slim Connors and seconded by Rob Stewart.  The motion was carried.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>New Business:</u></strong> None</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>For the Good of the Club</u></strong>: President Kurt Uhler informed the Club that the Sheetz building construction plan is moving forward and that will affect the roadway that connects to the Club.  South Middleton Township holds Board meetings where more information about this project is available.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>November 21, 2022</strong></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by the Club President.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><strong><u>Officers and Members Present:</u></strong> President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and one Trustee. Treasurer, Membership Director, and Trustees Bob Berrettini and Phil Dyche were absent. There were 15 members present.</p>
<p><strong><u>Minutes for the 31 October 2022 meeting were read and approved.</u></strong>  Motion to accept the Meeting Minutes,  as read, was made by Mike Kubarek and seconded by Courtney Genise. The motion carried.</p>
<p><strong><u>Treasurer Report was read and approved. </u></strong>  Treasurer report was read by the President. The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, and CD’s amounted to $122,592.04.  The NRA-Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) donation fund closed at the end of the month with $310.00 and $310 of matching Club funds of an authorized $500 from the Club, for a total donation to the NRA-ILA of $620. The Cumberland County Special Response Team (SRT) donation fund closed at the end of the month with $1,240 and $1,240 of matching Club funds of an authorized $2000 from the Club, for a total donation to the Cumberland County SRT of $2,480.</p>
<p>Sincere Thanks goes to all participating CGC members for their generosity to these worthy causes. Motion to accept the Treasurer Report, as read and updated, was made by Rick Blosser and seconded by Barbara Vanner. The motion carried.</p>
<p>After-the-report Treasurer actions to date include:</p>
<ol>
<li>Presently, only the Club Treasurer is listed as authorized to access the Club&#8217;s Members 1<sup>st</sup> Federal Credit</li>
</ol>
<p>Union account. President Kurt Uhler should be added to the Club&#8217;s Members 1<sup>st</sup> account.</p>
<p><strong>Action Item:</strong>  Treasurer and President in coordination with representative of Members 1st FCU.</p>

<li>The CGC Savings Account grew to @ $94,000. November&#8217;s dividend was @ $7.30. Members 1<sup>st</sup> Federal</li>
</ol>
<p>Credit Union has a 15-Month CD at 4.3%APR with a 4.22% Dividend which would translate to Dividend</p>
<p>Income for the Club of @ $2700 at the end of 15 months. Accordingly, after electronic coordination and</p>
<p>approval by Club officers, $50,000 of Club Savings Account was moved into a Members 1<sup>st</sup> 15-Month CD.</p>
<p>This investment still leaves @ $44,000 in savings and @ $26,000 in checking.</p>
<p><strong><u>Corresponding Secretary Report </u></strong>– Scot Story.  A member broadcast email was sent announcing the 21 November meeting and reminding members that NRA-ILA and SRT donations need to be in by the end of the month of November 2022. A Member broadcast email was sent announcing range closure for cleaning on 15 November 2022. And an email was sent to Club officers about scrubbing the Club Membership Roster after the end of October 2022.</p>
<p><strong><u>CGC Training Group Activities Report</u></strong> – Barbara Vanner. The 21 November report included CGC Training Group activities for the months of October and November 2022. The CGC Training Fund ending balance was $3,668.81. CGC NRA instructors hosted an NRA a PPIH course 14-15 October 2022, and a PPOH course on 12 and 19 November 2022. See the 21 November NRA Training Group Activities Report for details.</p>
<p><strong><u>New Members</u></strong> – None.</p>
<p><strong><u>4-H Youth Small-Bore Rifle Shooting Program</u></strong> – No report.</p>
<p><strong><u>Cowboy Action</u></strong> – Rick Blosser.  CGC officers coordinated to authorize the Perry County Regulators to host Single Action Shooting Society Cowboy Action shoots at the club on 7 January and 4 February 2023.</p>
<p><strong><u>Membership Committee</u></strong> – Rob Steward was absent, but his report was read by the President. To date, 421members renewed their memberships. The Club will begin in-processing up to 15 new members at the 30 January meeting.</p>
<p><strong><u>Technology and Security Committee</u></strong> – John Haiduck. A club access fob was created for the security system camera technician. The security system appears to be working normally, even though the system&#8217;s cooling fan has begun to sound louder than before. The Security and Technology Committee will continue to closely monitor the system.</p>
<p><strong><u>WPPL Pistol Team</u></strong> – No report.</p>
<p><strong><u>Trustees Report</u></strong> – George Lawrence. The Treasurer and Trustees are searching for a roofing contractor to solicit bids for CGC roof repairs. The new bid should include provisions for warrantee of work to be accomplished.</p>

<p>decision and for authorization to proceed with a roof repair contract.</p>

<p><strong><u>Old Business</u></strong> – Final Totals for donations for NRA-ILA and for the Cumberland County SRT will be provided at the next meeting. See Treasurer Report above.</p>
<p><strong><u>New Business</u></strong> – The December General Membership Meeting is cancelled. The Corresponding Secretary will notify members via broadcast email.</p>

<li>Rick Blosser. If anyone is a reloader and needs primers, Shyda&#8217;s Outdoor Center in Lebannon, PA has small and large pistol primers for sale for @ 10 cents each.</li>

<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><strong><u>Officers and Members Present:</u></strong> President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, and 3 Trustees. There were 26 members present.</p>
<p><strong><u>Minutes for the 25 October 2021 meeting were read and approved.</u></strong> Motion to accept the Minutes, as read, was made by Rob Stewart, seconded by Bob Berrettini. The motion carried.</p>
<p><strong><u>Treasurer Report was read</u></strong><u> <strong>and approved</strong>.</u>  The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, CDs, and Training Fund, amounted to $110,961.10. Included in this total is the roof fund, which has $55K. Motion to accept the Report, as read, was made by Denny Kuehn, seconded by Bob Berrettini. The motion carried.</p>
<p><strong><u>Corresponding Secretary Report</u></strong> – Scot Storey. Sent 2 member broadcast emails: 1 announcing the U.S. Law shield Seminar and 1 announcing the 29 November meeting. CGC member email database will be updated and confirmed in November to reflect current CGC members.</p>
<p><strong><u>CGC Training Group Activities Report</u></strong> <strong>–</strong> Denny Kuehn. CGC NRA instructors hosted an <strong><u>NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home Advanced</u></strong> course on 13 and 20 November 2021. All shooters completed the course. CGC hosted a U.S, Law Shield Seminar on 21 November 2021. CGC NRA instructors will host an <strong><u>NRA Defensive Pistol</u></strong>courses 4 December 2021. There are 6 shooters registered for the course. See the 29 November 2021 CGC Training Group Activities Report for additional information.</p>
<p><strong><u>New Members</u></strong> <strong>&#8211; </strong>There were 11 new members voted into the Club.</p>
<p><strong><u>4-H Youth Small-Bore Rifle Shooting Program</u> –</strong> John Gingrich. The Higher Information Group shooting sports fund raiser event yielded @ $2500 for the youth shooters sponsored by the Carlisle Gun Club. John obtained an additional $1350 for youth Shooting Program. John asked if CGC could hang a banner somewhere at the Club, acknowledging Higher Information Group generosity. The proposal was approved. <p><strong><u>Cowboy Action</u></strong> – Rick Blosser. No report.</p>
<p><strong><u>Membership Committee</u> – </strong>There are currently 423 active members, leaving 77 remaining available membership slots. There are 40 new member applications (3 with no sponsor.) To date, 423 current members renewed their memberships.</p>
<p><strong><u>Technology and Security Committee</u></strong> – No report.</p>
<p><strong><u>WPPL Pistol Team</u></strong> – No Report. Anyone interested in WPPL Precision Pistol shooting, please contact Gary Gibson or any CGC WPPL shooter. See the schedule on the CGC Bulleting Board for matches and for names of CGC shooters.</p>
<p><strong><u>Trustees Report </u></strong>– George Lawrence. Unauthorized caliber brass has been observed on the range. Anyone seeing unauthorized shooting activity or brass, please let a CGC officer know, so video surveillance can be reviewed to identify members or guests who are violating Club rules. The range cleanup day will be rescheduled.</p>

<p><strong><u>For the Good of the Club</u></strong></p>

<li>President. Discussion led to the decision to cancel the December 2021 CGC Membership Meeting.</li>
<li>President. Cowboy action shooter dates are Saturday, 8 January 2022 and Saturday, 5 February. These events are also a fund-raisers for the 4-H Youth Shooters, who provide refreshments during the shoots.</li>
<li>Scot Storey. Recording Secretary will promulgate emails about only pistol calibers on the range, the dates of the cowboy action shoots at CGC, and cancelling the December CGC Membership Meeting.</li>

<strong>11/25/2019</strong></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><strong>Officers present:</strong>President, Vice President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary and 3 Trustees.  There were 28 members present.</p>
<p><strong><u>The Minutes for the October 2019 meeting were read and approved.</u></strong><u>  </u></p>
<p><strong><u>Treasurer’s Report was read</u></strong><u><strong>and accepted</strong>.</u></p>
<p><strong>Corresponding Secretary’s Report-</strong>Emails have been sent to keep members informed of range activities and the monthly meeting agenda.</p>
<p><strong>NRA Training Group Report-</strong>CGC NRA Instructors conducted an <u>NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside the Home</u>course for 5 shooters and all requirements were met. The 2020 Training calendar is posted on the Carlisle Gun Club website under the “Training” tab.</p>
<p><strong>New Members- </strong>There were 8 new members processed into the Club.</p>
<p><strong>4-H Sharpshooters</strong>&#8211; No Report.</p>
<p><strong>Cowboy Action- </strong>The Cowboy Action group activities will resume in January.  Contact Rick Blosser for more information.</p>
<p><strong>Membership Committee- </strong>Currently there are 424 active members and 33 new member applications.</p>
<p><strong>WPPL Pistol Team- </strong>The teams are currently in 6<sup>th</sup>and 7<sup>th</sup>place. By joining a team, you will improve your shooting skills and accuracy.   Contact Gary Gibson or Dick Pryor for more details.</p>
<p><strong>Trustees Report</strong>&#8211; The lines on the range have been freshly painted, a motor has been installed on the air in-take and repairs have been made on the main entrance door’s dead bolt.  However, help is still needed to service the heaters. Also, after the recent snow a roof leak was discovered on the range.  Dick Pryor has volunteered to inspect the roof and possibly patch with rubber roofing.</p>
<p><strong>Technology and Security Committee- </strong>The Committee is working on the needed upgrades.  The camera security system software agreement needs to be renewed. A motion was passed to authorize $300 for the license renewal and trip charge.</p>
<p><strong>Old Business- </strong>None</p>
<p><strong>New Business- </strong></p>
<p><strong>New Committees- </strong>It was suggested that funds be set aside to purchase laptops for the new chairmen of the Membership Committee and the Technology and Security Committee. Darren Snow has one laptop and is checking with his workplace for another one.</p>
<p><strong>2020 Budget- </strong>The Budget will be reviewed and adjusted accordingly for the building, technology, etcetera.</p>
<p><strong>Volunteers-</strong>Discussion was opened regarding compensating our CGC volunteers.  There are a number of members who consistently give of their time and talents. It was suggested that volunteers who meet a certain criteria be rewarded annual membership at no cost.  Further thought and discussion is needed to develop the criteria, and possibly a type of point system.  It was approved to table this discussion until February.</p>

<p>The December meeting will be held on the last Monday of the month as usual, so we can continue to process new members.</p>

<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President.</p>

<p><strong>NRA Training Group Report-</strong> The NRA Training Group reported on training they conducted in November with a total of 7 students in class.  All training objectives were achieved. Also, CGC NRA Instructors participated in Women on Target Shooting Clinic. The training calendar for 2019 is complete and will be posted on the Club’s website.</p>
<p><strong>New Members- </strong>There were 19 new members processed into the Club.</p>
<p><strong>4H Shooters</strong>&#8211; No Report</p>
<p><strong>Cowboy Action- </strong>No Report</p>
<p><strong>Membership Committee- </strong>Currently the CGC is processing new members to fill the vacancies.</p>
<p><strong>WPPL Pistol Team- </strong>Contact Gary Gibson if you are interested in joining the team.</p>
<p><strong>Trustees Report</strong>&#8211; No Report</p>
<p><strong>Old Business- </strong></p>
<p><strong>Wi-Fi- </strong>There was a discussion about the possibility of installing Wi-Fi at the club.  This will be addressed at a future meeting.</p>
<p><strong>Targets</strong>&#8211; Bowling pins are not acceptable targets in the range.  Paper targets only.</p>
<p><strong>Video Surveillance Upgrade</strong>&#8211; Tony will follow-up with Cam Tech on the status of installation.</p>
<p><strong>Membership</strong>&#8211; There was interest in raising the number of active members, but some concern on the impact that will have on the club. This topic will be discussed at a later date, so the NRA Instructors can be part of the conversation.</p>
<p><strong>NRA Check</strong>-The total amount of donations and matching club funds sent to the NRA was $920.</p>
<p><strong>New Business- </strong>No comments</p>
<p><strong>For the Good of the Club- </strong></p>
<p>It was announced that member Mike Kubarek recently experienced 2 deaths in his family.  A card was signed by club members and sent to Mike.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes</strong><br />
<strong>11/27/2017</strong></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President; there were 37 members present.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><b>Officers present:</b> President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and 2 Trustees.</p>
<p><b>The Minutes for the October 30, 2017 meeting were read and accepted</b>.</p>
<p><b>Treasurer’s Report was read</b> <b>and accepted</b>.  The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, CDs and Training Fund amounted to $48,003.65.</p>
<p><b>Corresponding Secretary’s Report.</b>  NSTR</p>
<p><b>Membership.</b>   There were 23 candidates for membership.</p>
<p><b>NRA Training Group Report-</b> Reported a total balance of $2,871.53 in the training account.  Reported on the Training group activities for the month of November 2017 and the projected activities for the remainder of the year which included a Defensive Pistol Course on 18 December.</p>
<p><b>4H Shooters</b>&#8211; NSTR.</p>
<p><b>Cowboy Action.</b>  Encouraged club members to attend the Cowboy Action Shoots in January and February 2018.</p>
<p><b>Membership Committee- </b>NSTR</p>
<p><b>WPPL Pistol Team.</b>  NSTR  <b> </b></p>
<p><b>Trustees Report</b>.-</p>
<p>Reported on the need for preventative maintenance for the louvres on the vents.  Reported on an increasing number of errant shots into the area above the range backstop.  The club corresponding secretary will put out a message to all members on the need for safely discharging weapons into the appropriate areas on the range.</p>
<p><b>Old Business-  </b>Tom Richwine reported on his meeting with the Carlisle (UK) Gun Club and their desire to develop a shooting competition with this club.<b>    </b>There was an interest expressed by club members present to pursue this.</p>
<p>It was reported that we still have trespassers in the parking lot and for members to be aware and report suspicious activity to the police.</p>
<p>New curbs have been procured for the parking lot and will be installed.</p>
<p>There was a discussion on whether the gun club has further investigated the possibility of installing a small safe for temporary storage of a weapon at the club.  Tom Richwine will check with the club’s insurance company to determine any impacts or limitations.  This will be added to the agenda for the December meeting.</p>
<p><b>New Business- </b></p>
<p>There was a discussion on the laws addressing the use medical marijuana and gun ownership.  There was a Motion to start the process to make a change to the Bylaws to require members to notify the club if their legal status regarding gun ownership changes.  This was followed by a discussion.  The motion was not voted.  <b>This was followed by a motion to table the original motion to a future date. This second motion was voted and approved.</b></p>
<p>There was a discussion on possible fundraising and conducting raffles at the club.  It was decided to postpone the resolution of this issue to a future meeting until those members in processing new applicants (the NRA Training Team) could be present.</p>
<p>The meeting was adjourned at 8:45pm.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes<br />
</strong><strong>11/28/2016</strong></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President; there were 41members present.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><b>Officers present:</b> President, Vice-President, and 2 Trustees.</p>
<p><b>The Minutes for the October 31, 2016 meeting were read and approved</b>.</p>
<p><b>Treasurer’s Report was read</b> <b>and approved</b>.  The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, CDs and Training Fund amounted to $48,897.54.  The president asked if we were on budget for all the capital expenses which were previously approved.  It was reported that we are currently under budget but we have not received all the outstanding bills for some of the improvements that were made.    The vice president reported that they were working on a final report of capital improvements and expenses which will be presented at a future meeting.</p>
<p><b>NRA Training Committee Report-</b> The NRA Training Committee reported that there was a Basics of Pistol Shooting Course on 19 November.   There were 8 students in the class.  There will be a Personal Protection Outside the Home class scheduled for 21-22 January.  A complete list of the training courses and activities sponsored/taught by the Club NRA Training Team can be found on the website.  The Training Committee wanted to recognize and thank Charlie Gibb, a longtime member of the Club and the NRA Training Committee for his service as the committee treasurer for the last 12 years.</p>
<p>The president asked if the training committee could look into the possibility of setting up another Utah Concealed Carry Course and report back at the next meeting.</p>
<p><b>New Members.</b>  There were 22 new members processed into the club.</p>
<p>There was a demonstration of the new fan system.</p>
<p><b>4H Report</b>&#8211; No Report</p>
<p><b>Cowboy Action</b>&#8211; No Report</p>
<p><b>Membership Committee Report.</b>  We now have web enabled club applications and have received six so far.  After tonight we will have 32 applicants waiting and less than that in openings before we reach the 400 mark.  It is estimated we will have approximately 12 individuals on the waiting list.</p>
<p><b>Pistol Team.</b>  Gold is in 7<sup>th  </sup>place and Blue is in  5<sup>th</sup> place.  We need more shooters.</p>
<p><b>Trustees Report</b>&#8211; Heaters are running again.  There was a question by the president as to whether we need to authorize any additional funds to cover the capital improvements we previously approved.  The Vice President reiterated that he and the Treasurer are working on a report that they will present at a future meeting.</p>
<p>The president asked the trustees to continue with the committee that looks a strategic planning for building upgrades, to put together a plan that addresses future potential improvements to the club, and to be prepared to address this with the club in January.</p>
<p><b>Old Business</b>.   There was a question about updating the calendar with the 4H shooting on Thursdays and to ensure that any other activity that closes the club be reflected accurately.</p>
<p>The president asked if we were moving toward using PayPal for the payment of club dues.  The VP reported that this was the plan for the payment of dues in 2017 for the 2018 year.</p>
<p>There was a request for more advance notification on those times when the club is being shut down, by at least 24 hours prior.  This was followed by a question as to whether the calendar on the website constitutes the official notification as to club closings.  The VP reported that is the intent.</p>
<p><b>New Business</b>.  There was a question about a previously discussed issue for obtaining a Small Games of Change license for the club.  The president deferred that to a future meeting, possibly in January.  Along with that the discussion for capital improvements and the website were deferred to the January 30, 2017 meeting.</p>
<p>It was suggested that we consider painting the floor with epoxy paint.  This was referred to the trustees to be included as a potential item for inclusion in their next report on capital improvements.</p>
<p><b>Good of the Club.  </b></p>
<p><b>Sound Off.  </b>There was a question as to whether the club is a nonsmoking club.  It was pointed out that there current policy is no smoking in the club during meetings and matches.  The president deferred this as a potential agenda item and change to the existing policy at the January 2017 meeting.</p>
<p>There was a question regarding the type calendar we are using on the website and whether it is Google calendars.  There was a desire to incorporate this to facilitate the access by members to information regarding activates of the club.  The vice president will take this on and work with Matt Creason, the website administrator.</p>
<p>There was a discussion on the issue of sponsors being present when a new members is brought into the club.</p>
<p>The meeting was adjourned at 8:33pm.</p>
