										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Carlisle Gun Club Meeting Minutes</strong><br />
<strong>12/30/2019</strong></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><strong>Officers present:</strong> President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary and 2 Trustees.  There were 29 members present.</p>
<p><strong><u>The Minutes for the November 2019 meeting were read and approved.</u></strong><u>  </u></p>
<p><strong><u>Treasurer’s Report was read</u></strong><u> <strong>and accepted</strong>.</u>  The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, CDs and Training Fund amounted to $79,263.37.</p>
<p><strong>Corresponding Secretary’s Report-</strong> No Report.</p>
<p><strong>NRA Training Group Report-</strong> CGC NRA Instructors conducted an <u>NRA Defensive Pistol</u> course for 5 shooters and all requirements were met. CGC members Dr. Jim Hurley and Ms. Barbara Vanner recently conducted a <u>Bleeding Control Basics Course </u>(also known as “Stop the Bleed”).  There were 8 CGC members who completed the course.</p>
<p><strong>New Members- </strong>There were 18 new members processed into the Club.</p>
<p><strong>4-H Sharpshooters</strong>&#8211; Recently the two youngest shooters competed in their first match.  On January 18<sup>th</sup>, six shooters will be competing in the Palmyra Invitational.  Also, the team is in need of 2 Left-handed Savage rifles.</p>
<p><strong>Cowboy Action- </strong>The Cowboy Action group activities will resume in January.  Contact Rick Blosser for more information.</p>
<p><strong>Membership Committee- </strong>Currently there are 452 active members and 26 pending new member applications.  Please be reminded that Sponsors must be present at the meeting when a new member is being inducted.</p>
<p><strong>WPPL Pistol Team- </strong>No Report.</p>
<p><strong>Technology and Security Committee- </strong>There was a short in the main entrance door that prevented members from gaining access to the club.  The magnet on the latch was bad and has been repaired.   Also, there’s a problem with logging into the computer system at the CGC to activate new members’ fobs.  The fobs will be issued and activated at a later date.</p>
<p><strong>Trustees Report</strong>&#8211; The roof was repaired with rubber roofing by a CGC member.  The main entrance door lock was repaired.  The heating system still needs to be serviced as now the coin operated heater is non-operational.</p>
<p><strong>Old Business- </strong></p>
<p><strong>NRA-ILA-</strong> Tonight is the last opportunity to give our Treasurer any financial contributions to support the NRA-ILA .  The CGC will match donations up to $500.</p>
<p><strong>New Business- None</strong></p>

<strong>12/17/2018</strong></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><strong>Officers present:</strong>President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary and 3 Trustees.  There were 30 members present.</p>
<p><strong><u>The Minutes for the November 2018 meeting were read and approved.</u></strong><u>  </u></p>
<p><strong><u>Treasurer’s Report was read </u></strong><u><strong>and accepted</strong>.</u></p>
<p><strong>Corresponding Secretary’s Report-</strong>Recently sent 3 emails to all members.</p>
<p><strong>NRA Training Group Report-</strong>The NRA Training Group reported on training they conducted in December with a total of 11 students.  All training objectives were achieved. The training calendar for 2019 is complete and is posted on the Club’s website.</p>
<p><strong>New Members- </strong>There were 15 new members processed into the Club.</p>
<p><strong>4H Sharpshooters</strong>&#8211; There are 10 juniors shooting for the 4H.  They will be serving food for the Cowboy Action in January &amp; February. Also, a rifle that recently malfunctioned is being repaired.</p>
<p><strong>Cowboy Action- </strong>The Cowboy Action Shoots for 2018 are scheduled for January 5<sup>th</sup>and February 2<sup>nd</sup>starting at 10am.</p>
<p><strong>Membership Committee- </strong>Currently the CGC is processing new members.  Tony is working on a report to identify range usage trends and number of members using the club.</p>
<p><strong>WPPL Pistol Team- </strong>The team is moving up in scores and rankings.  To help encourage more shooters to join the team, they were asked to give a demonstration at a future CGC meeting.</p>
<p><strong>Trustees Report</strong>&#8211; The water leak at the main handwashing station was repaired.</p>
<p><strong>Old Business- </strong></p>
<p><strong>Membership</strong>&#8211; There was a motion to increase the membership limit from 400 to 500.  After much discussion and a vote, the motion was approved.</p>
<p><strong>Wi-Fi- </strong>Mike Kubarek reported on internet services and quotes from Comcast and CenturyLink.  Considerable discussion followed.  The Trustees were asked to present a recommendation at the next CGC meeting and a vote will take place.</p>
<p><strong>New Business- </strong></p>
<p><strong>Range Notice- </strong>It was suggested that club members receive at least a 2 week notice when the range will be closed.</p>
<p><strong>Additional Staff- </strong>Due to the amount of time and work involved in the membership process, more members are needed to volunteer on the Membership Committee. Please see Tony for more information.</p>
<p><strong>For the Good of the Club- </strong></p>
<p><strong>Safety- </strong>Safety must be kept a number one priority at all times.  With our membership increasing, and more shooters on the range, everyone must continue to exercise safety and caution.</p>

<strong>12/18/2017</strong></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President; there were 43 members present.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><b>Officers present:</b> President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and 3 Trustees.</p>
<p><b>The Minutes for the November 27, 2017 meeting were read and accepted</b>.</p>
<p><b>Treasurer’s Report was read</b> <b>and accepted</b>.  The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, CDs and Training Fund amounted to.</p>
<p><b>Corresponding Secretary’s Report.</b>  The corresponding secretary sent out several email announcements to the club over the past month.</p>
<p>T this point in the meeting the President made the executive decision to move all new items/motions to the period outside the January to March time frame so all members of the NRA Training Team could participate in the discussions and voting.</p>
<p><b>NRA Training Group Report-</b> Reported a total balance of $3,344.10 in the training account.  There was a defensive pistol course on 11/18/2017.  The 2018 training courses are posted at the CGC Website.</p>
<p><b>New Members</b>.  There were 23 candidates for membership.</p>
<p><b>4H Shooters</b>&#8211; NSTR.</p>
<p><b>Cowboy Action.</b>  Encouraged club members to attend the Cowboy Action Shoots in January and February 2018.</p>
<p><b>Membership Committee- </b>Reported that we are close to the total number of members</p>
<p><b>WPPL Pistol Team.</b>  They are currently shooting every week.</p>
<p><b>Trustees Report</b>.- Reported they are looking into the installation of additional lighting for the back parking lot.</p>
<p><b>Old Business</b></p>
<p>Curtains-  <b>There was a motion to approve $300 to purchase materials for the replacement of curtains and curtain rods.  The motions was voted and approved.</b></p>
<p>Coupons-  It was reported that there were 10% discount coupons from Dunhams’ Sporting Goods store available to club members.</p>

<strong>1/30/2017</strong></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President; there were 38 members present.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><b>Officers present:</b> President, Vice-President, , Recording Secretary, and 3Trustees.</p>
<p><b>The Minutes for the December 19, 2016 meeting were read and approved</b>.</p>
<p><b>Treasurer’s Report was read</b> <b>and approved</b>.  The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, CDs and Training Fund amounted to $46,215.90.</p>
<p><b>Corresponding Secretary’s Report.</b>  The corresponding secretary reported that he sent out the message on the proper setting for using the new Fan system as requested at the December meeting.</p>
<p><b>NRA Training Committee Report-</b> The NRA Training Committee reported that there was $2114.08 in the Training Fund.   There were 12 students in the Personal Protection Outside the Home class on 21-22 January and there will be an NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Phase II Course on 25 February, 2017.  See the attached report for full details.  Mike Kubarek reprted that the Utah Concealed Carry Course could be scheduled for 30 April.</p>
<p><b>New Members.</b>  There were 6 new members processed into the club.</p>
<p><b>4H Shooters.</b>  Reminded the group that they shoot every Thursday at 6:30-9:00pm.</p>
<p><b>Cowboy Action</b>&#8211; The first Cowboy Action shoot on 7 January had 24 shooters.  The next shoot is scheduled for 4 February.</p>
<p><b>Membership Committee Report.</b>  The chair of the Membership Committee reported that we are starting to receive a lot of membership applications  through the web site.</p>
<p><b>Pistol Team.</b>  Don is no longer the Captain of the Pistol Team after 25 years.  The two new Co- Captains are Gary Gibson and Dick Pryor.</p>
<p><b>Trustees Report</b>&#8211; No Report.  The Trustees asked that if there was anyone with carpentry experience who could assist with the installation of 2 new doors on the sink cabinet in the meeting room to please contact them.   Phil Dyche commented on the possible need to move the outside camera #2 to a higher location to provide less glare and a better quality picture.</p>
<p>There was a general comment that the new fans are a lot quieter and it is now much easier to conduct training and hear range commands when on the firing line.</p>
<p><b>New Business- </b>Tom Richwine briefed the club on the proposed budget for 2017.  <b>There was a motion to approve the 2017 Budget which was approved.</b></p>
<p><b>There was a motion to approve $50 for the</b> <b>purchase of “D-Lead”,  a personal hand cleaning product designed to remove lead reside.   </b></p>
<p><b> Sound Off.  </b>It was suggested we look at patching the holes the next time the club repairs the back stop as opposed to replacing the entire wall.</p>
<p>It was suggested we place the pictures from the Cowboy Action Shoot on the club web site.   This was followed by a discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of posting pictures to a public website.</p>
<p>The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 pm.</p>

<strong>12/19/2016</strong></p>
<p>The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Club President; there were 38 members present.</p>
<p>The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.</p>
<p><b>Officers present:</b> President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and 2 Trustees.</p>
<p><b>The Minutes for the November 28, 2016 meeting were read and approved</b>.</p>
<p><b>Treasurer’s Report was read</b> <b>and approved</b>.  The total balance of all accounts, checking, savings, CDs and Training Fund amounted to $48,908.24.</p>
<p><b>Corresponding Secretary’s Report.</b>  No Report</p>
<p><b>NRA Training Committee Report-</b> The NRA Training Committee reported that there was $1,100.07 in the Training Fund.   There will be a Personal Protection Outside the Home class scheduled for 21-22 January and there will be an NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Phase II Course on 25 February, 2017.  Mike Kubarek is now the Training Committee Fund Coordinator.</p>
<p><b>New Members.</b>  There were 12 new members processed into the club.</p>
<p><b>Cowboy Action</b>&#8211; The first Cowboy Action shoot will be on 7 January.  4H will be providing refreshments.</p>
<p><b>Membership Committee Report.</b>  There are 11 spots still available after tonight’s induction of new members.</p>
<p><b>Pistol Team.</b>  Gold is in 7<sup>th  </sup>place and Blue is in  5<sup>th</sup> place.  We need more shooters.</p>
<p><b>Trustees Report</b>&#8211; No Report.</p>
<p><b>New Business- </b>There was no new business.  <b> </b></p>
<p><b>Old Business</b>.   The president asked that any old business be tabled to the January meeting.</p>
<p><b>Sound Off.  </b>It was asked if we review the process for the setting on the fans when shutting them down.  The president asked if we could send an email to all members reminding them of the correct settings.</p>
