Personal Protection Outside the Home (PPOH) – Cost $90. Offered: 9 & 16 March 24; 9 & 16 November 24.

Also known as NRA Concealed Carry Course Basic and Advanced (Level I and II)…a full two-day course on consecutive Saturdays. DESCRIPTION: Develop knowledge, skills and (positive) attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, responsible, and ethical use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home. Includes defensive mindset, legal aspects of concealed carry, carry modes, and defensive pistol skills while presenting from concealment garment. PREREQUISITE: Must have completed NRA PPIH. REQUIREMENTS: Need an Outside-the-Waist Band (OWB) hip holster, suitable belt, and a suitable cover garment. Min of 2 mags or speed loaders…belt carriers recommended. No shoulder holsters, ankle holsters, small-of-the-back holsters, or cross-draw holsters allowed. No back-up guns. May also bring a holster purse, but OWB holster required. OTHER INFO: Must bring 250 rounds of factory ammo in factory box for your own center fire pistol…no short-barrel pocket pistols…no reloaded ammo. Bring cap, glasses, dark sunglasses, ear protection (electronic recommended.) Bring a bag lunch for both days. Full payment required Not Later Than one week prior to course date to secure your training slot…first paid, first in.
