DESCRIPTION: All day Saturday course. Learn and demonstrate basic knowledge, skills and (positive) attitude necessary for the safe and proficient use of a rifle in target shooting. Includes positions, fundamentals, safe handling and storage, responsible ownership, and shooting qualification…all in a safe and supportive environment. PREREQUISITE: None. OTHER INFO:  No prior firearms experience required to succeed in this course! Bring a .22LR caliber rifle or carbine suitable for effectively shooting from 50 feet…some rifles and ammo will be available for shooters who do not have a suitable .22LR rifle/carbine.
